Back in 2014 (OMG almost ten years ago), our Menopause Goddess group met in beautiful Lake Tahoe for our annual gathering. At that time, Estroven offered to donate $250 to the Avon breast cancer walk for groups who sent or posted a photo of their own Sleep Pink party. Of course, we jumped at the chance. See photo above. (You can read more about it here: https://menopausegoddessblog.com/2014/10/pretty-in-pink/ ) Estroven has long been a mainstay for relief of menopause symptoms with its formulation of soy isoflavones.
Fast forward to 2024 and Estroven is back with us, this time with a new product that is a soy free supplement: Estroven Complete + Ashwagandha menopause relief. So I tried it. I don’t often suffer a hot flash these days - except when it’s hot (and I live in Hawai`i, so I certainly get them. (Sorry, ladies, they can still happen post-menopause.) Luckily, no night sweats and I sleep like I’m going for gold in an Olympic event. But I still have low energy and daily stress, even after the worst of the pandemic.
After a couple months of trying the supplement, my energy is definitely up. However, that could also be attributed to an increase in exercise. That’s the problem with trying more than one thing at a time. However, I can report that my stress level has truly diminished. Placebo effect? Who knows? But I bought more and am continuing to take it. And I’ve not had a hot flash in weeks despite it being hot and still. I reordered another 60-day supply. I’m a believer.
Estroven Complete + Ashwagandha offers relief of hot flashes, night sweats, sleeplessness, mood swings, vaginal dryness, and concentration as well as helping with daily stress and energy depletion. It’s hormone-free and contains clinically proven Rhapontic Rhubarb Root Extract shown to relieve ALL MAJOR menopause symptoms.*

Hello. I’m a husband who’s wife (age 50) of 19 years has told me she no longer loves me and wants a separation. In the past 6 months she has started working out and has lost weight and looks amazing. She is confident and strong, but says she doesn’t want me or the marriage. She is also less engaged in our 3 kids. I’m sure i could have been a better partner, but i work providing a good income, dont do drugs and i am generally a good father/partner.
Could there be a peri-menpausal action at play?
Certainly that is possible. To be sure, she should have her hormones tested to find out (regardless of any choices she might wish to make.) I always caution women not to make any big changes during the perimenopause/menopause transition, eg moving, job change, relationship change. Menopause is like puberty to the 10th power - we wouldn’t expect a teen in the throes of puberty to make any huge life-altering decisions. Even more so with menopause. Encourage her to see a trusted health care professional - and maybe a menopause coach might help both of you. I would be willing for your wife to contact me: lynette@9points.com if indeed she turns out to be perimenopausal. Good luck!
